\nThe first step was the adoption of technologically advanced machines that reduce waste<\/strong>, both in terms of raw materials and energy consumption. The next step was aimed at the recovery of waste materials<\/strong> from the processes to enter them in a new internal production cycle, or when it is not possible, distributing them to companies specialized in the treatment of secondary raw materials. Taking advantage of the large covered area of our production sites<\/a>\u00a0we have also installed a photovoltaic system<\/strong> that partially covers our energy needs.
\nThis commitment to sustainability was further achieved in 2023 with the ISO 14001<\/strong> certification (Enviroment Management System<\/strong> Certification): a path to voluntary membership that aims to define a company policy<\/strong> even more responsible and aware evironmental protection, pollution prevention<\/strong>, as well as the reduction of energy and resource<\/strong>.
\nThe environmental management system (EMS) that we are applying is based on the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” methodology and allows us to monitor the evironmental impact of our activities with a view to continuous improvement of the practices adopted.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”The Sustainability Report” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]MPT Plastica publishes its environmental and social sustainability results in a dedicated report, starting from 2023 and on an annual basis.
\nThe Sustainability Report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, defined in 2016 by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards) and updated in 2022, in association with the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for the definition of material topics.
\nThis sustainability report has been drafted with reference to the GRI by ESG-VIEW.<\/p>\n
