\nWith recycled and bio-based materials, the question is no longer \u201cif they can be used in production\u201d, but \u201chow to ensure process consistency.\u201d
\nThis requires active process control\u2014 not just material selection \u2014to prevent batch-to-batch variability affecting tolerances and surface quality.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcca SMART MANUFACTURING: Industry 4.0 in molding is now mature
\nWhat makes the difference today is the ability to:
\n\u2022 integrate sensors for pressure, temperature, and cycle time
\n\u2022 turn data into prediction and not just monitoring<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfe5 MEDICAL: polymers are engineering materials
\nCertified biocompatibility, repeated sterilization cycles, dimensional stability under cyclic loads:
\nmedical devices now demand structural performance from polymers that was once exclusive to metals.<\/p>\n

This topic is particularly relevant to us: during Smart Plastics 2026, we presented a medical device for which we engineered the housing and external components, fully complying with both design constraints and performance requirements\u2014consistent with our integrated approach from co-design to industrialization.<\/p>\n

Three different domains, one shared insight
\nIn technical molding, competitive advantage is shifting from \u201cwhat\u201d (material, press, technology) to \u201chow\u201d: process control, constraint integration, and the ability to balance performance and sustainability across the entire value chain.<\/p>\n
