Warehouse, administration, MES software. Thirty years of company history through one desk: that of Luca Pancrazi.
In 1997, MPT moved to its current headquarters. And Luca was there, in his first role as warehouse operator: steels, resins, lead times, batch quality.
Five years later he moved to the administrative offices. And there, his responsibilities gradually expanded to encompass the entire supplier administration process, as well as the management and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, an activity that forms part of MPT’s broader commitment to responsible environmental impact management.
When Luca reviews an order, he doesn’t just read numbers: he sees the materials he handled for years in the warehouse, the lead times, the batch quality.
📚 From paper-based management to Aliante MES Luca has been through generational transitions, system changes, the integration of the mould shop and the moulding department.
He had to relearn the way he did his job. The latest step was Aliante, the MES software originally developed for production and then extended to management control. A process change towards the automation of administrative controls that Luca has brought into his daily operations to reduce manual errors and build a solid method to pass on to those who will join the company tomorrow.
Because at MPT, growth is personal, but the direction is always shared.
