This is the case of Emanuele Barsottini, an experienced designer in the Technical Office of MPT Plastica, who has been building his journey since 2002, day by day, through digital tools, technical collaboration, and teamwork.
Joining the company right after graduating, he worked alongside professionals like Stefano Taviani and Ing. Stefano Luisetti, gradually building a solid know-how in mold design and injection molding process simulation, thanks to the advanced use of tools for Moldflow and FEM analysis, CAE simulation, and process optimization.
At MPT, preliminary analysis is not just a service offered, but a true design compass that guides decisions from the very first stages: from defining injection points to controlling weld lines, to predicting shrinkage and air traps.
“The most stimulating part? Finding solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality, respecting required tolerances and customer needs. Sometimes you work down to the tenth of a millimeter. But it’s right there that the quality of the result is determined.”
In this work, technical precision, shared vision, and inter-departmental collaboration are essential: the workshop, molding, quality, and commercial departments work together to translate a requirement into a tangible result. And in this context, every person makes a difference.
